A bit about me and my Journey

I was born in beautiful Cape Town, South Africa. Being raised in South Africa shaped much of who I am today and the beautiful landscapes and varied wildlife continue to inspire me in my Tattooing and Painting.

At 20 I moved to Ireland to pursue better opportunities and to start exploring the world.

It was in Dublin that I started my Tattoo Apprenticeship, and I have now been tattooing for 12 years. Over those 12 years I’ve had incredible opportunities to Tattoo in various countries including Australia, Germany, Italy and back home in South Africa just to name a few. As well as guest spots, I have worked a number of International Tattoo Conventions.

I have now settled in Birmingham with my wife, and have built a loyal customer base here. I am currently Tattooing at ‘Steele and Ink Tattoos’ in the Jewellery Quarter, and have a home studio to work on my Paintings.

I specialise in Tattooing black and grey realism and have a particular passion for Japanese, mixing my years of realism in with more traditional elements. I especially enjoy tattooing;

  • Dragons, Hannya Masks, Geishas

  • Portraits, Florals, all kinds of Animals…

I’m always happy to hear your ideas, big or small, so please send me a message to inquire and let’s get you booked in
