Sleeve Advice
So you want sleeve?
Here’s a few tips and advice on how to go about it.
• It’s good to have a rough Idea of what you want
Stick to a theme or story - e.g Japanese sleeve with 2 or more characters
Greek god sleeve - so many gods, really interesting stories
Egyptian god sleeve - many different tales and mythology
Floral - Family - Ornamental - fierce animals
• If you can only think of 1 or 2 elements, don’t worry, I can help you fill in the rest.
• Don’t put to many elements in though, it could be too busy
Asking - “How much for a sleeve?,” is the same as asking “How much to build a house?” there are too many variables
I would also advise AGAINST getting 1 piece at a time and then adding to it. It’d be like a house with loads of extensions added to it (looks crap). It’s better to have a plan from the beginning - like an architect would
It’s difficult to Quote
In the example (below) , you can see everyone has different size arms, which means some sleeves take far longer to complete than others
I normally quote 5-7 full day sessions to finish a sleeve
A day session normally starts at 11am and we finish at 5pm or 5.30pm

Hi there,
Im looking to book in for a Gangster themed sleeve, with my favourite villians from the following movies…
Here are some images of my favourite movie characters…
I’ve attached some photos of my arm (holding an A4 piece of paper - for size reference), and different angled photos of arm. (Example below)
That’s my rough idea, i’ll let you roll with the idea for the rest of the sleeve.
